Me and Ian being ridiculous as always. Well, Ian as always, me just sometimes.

This morning was monumental. It started off at 4:53am. That's right. Are you reading that? My baby slept from 11:00pm to 4:53am. That's roughly 6 hours of sleep! If she did wake up before that I absolutely do not remember waking up and feeding her and putting her back down. 6 hours. Wow. So what do I decide to do? Shower. It was glorious. Then, I proceeded to eat one of the whole wheat, almond milk waffles I made for Ian the other day. Now, here I sit with Google Reader opened drinking a diet coke.
I must be really selfish with sleep, because I'm actually still a little sleepy. I think the only reason Mila slept so long is because she had her immunizations yesterday. Then, we gave her some Tylenol before bedtime because she was crying a lot, I think that her leg is really sore.
Later this morning, I will be going to the grocery store with both bambinos. We have lots to get! Hopefully we won't spend too much though. We've been on a tight budget ever since I became overzealous and paid the mortgage twice in two weeks. Oops.
Well, if this isn't the most random post ever. I do think that you should take yourself over to Single Dad Laughing and read his most recent post of You are not the man she married. Good post. You should subscribe to his feed too. And read a lot of his stuff, it's pretty good.
As of last night, I started to reread Little Women. I first read it in 4th grade as a gift from my teacher, Mrs. Scott. She was only there for a little while, then on maternity leave, then didn't come back when they found out her daughter had special needs of some sort. At the end of our school year, she gave everyone in the class a book (I believe we all got books) and mine was Little Women. When I read it, it totally reminds me of her. She was a great teacher. There's a few other books that I'm thinking about rereading from then. I really want to read Matilda! And more than that, I want to watch that movie! I remember watching it a million times when I was younger. Good times.
I feel like we need a trampoline in the backyard, but first we need to get rid of all of the dangerous and thorny bushes. Then, we need to decide where to put it. Then, we need to grow a money tree.
That is all.

Update Before Bedtime
Yes, it's 10:20pm. Yes, Ian is still awake. He took a super late nap around 6 o'clock. It was an accident. We were eating dinner. And I was turned talking to Stephen. We look over at Ian and he's sleeping in his highchair. It looked almost like he was trying to get out and just fell asleep. The only thing that woke him up was Mila crying. And now, he's still awake and super chipper. Maybe that means he'll let me sleep in tomorrow, though I doubt it. I've been woken up every morning before the sun rises to a very energetic 2-year-old smiling in my face saying "All Done!!" and "Morning!" He's ridiculous and I love it.
Today was Mila's 2 month check-up. And man, is she a healthy girl! She's 11 pounds, 11 ounces, and 21.5 inches long. This puts her in the 75th percentile for weight and 25th percentile for height. Her acid reflux medicine has really helped her be able to eat more so I'm sure she's just going bonkers for baba now. Bonkers for Baba. I like it. Before we treated her reflux, she was only eating every 4 hours, I'm sure because it hurt too bad to eat. Now, she eats every 2 hours. Could you imagine if that didn't hinder her at all? She'd probably be as big as Ian! She did let out a god awful shreak when they gave her the vaccine. Poor bambino.
No pictures for now because my camera is too far away. I'm going to go give Mila her last dose of medicine and try and read before bedtime.
Good night all!!

Ten on Tuesday
It's 10:05am and I'm finally getting my cup of coffee. I only have one about every 2 days and it's half caff, but it's definitely needed at this point in time. I cannot get my energy back! I'm beginning to think, it'll never come back. Mila is finally asleep in her swing and Ian is running around the house hitting a ball with a baseball bat. Yes, I allow these things to happen. It's a big bouncy ball and a tiny toy bat, so, no harm, no foul. Here goes nothing!
1. What is your cleaning style like?
Hmm... Style? When I start cleaning, it's cleaning time! I usually put some music on and just go at it and don't like to have interruptions or anything. Luckily, the hubs likes to clean with music on as well, so it works out.
2. What is your favorite thing to add to an outfit to take it from casual to classy?
Casual to classy?! Really? I'm a mom that can't even remember doctor's appointments. But, I guess le shoes. Shoes can take an outfit from casual to classy
3. Do you like stormy weather?
I think it's pretty, like lightening storms. And you know that we need rain here. But, other than that, it really creeps me out... but I love it!
4. What is your favorite cold treat on a hot day?
Amy's pina colada's that she made the other night, watermelon, and icey water! But, I don't want to think about it being hot yet. I don't think I'm ready for it.
5. What is your favorite warm treat on a cold day?
Chai latte from Starbucks! Or Mexican hot chocolate. And yes, of course, a nice hot cup of coffee....
6. Who is your favorite animated character?
This is a toughy! Lately, I've been watching lots of The Incredibles. So maybe one of them? Wait no, Shrek. I loves me some Shrek!
7. What do you keep your jewelry in?
In my bathroom, not really in anything. I do have a jewelry box that I keep some of it in. I should get better at storing it.
8. Do any of the rooms in your house have a theme?
Mila's room is the birds, owls, trees, theme. Ian will one day have a Calvin and Hobbs mural on his wall if his Uncle Aaron ever gets around to it... right now, he has alphabet stickers on one of his walls that he helped me put up. His room will be pretty easy to go from one theme to another depending on what he's interested in... I like it. :)
9. Do you watch any interior design TV shows – if so, what is your favorite?
We don't have cable anymore. But, sometimes, if I ever get time, I'll watch a few shows like Design to Sale, on PlayOn. But other than that, nope.
10. When was the last time you did something risk-taking?
Risky? I'm not too much of a risky person. I'll really have to think on this one... I have no idea! I have kids, I generally don't do anything too risky anymore because of that. I guess, me having a baby taken out of my body is pretty risky... lol.
