Mila Update

Granny Janny, Ian, Mila, and I are all at home. We set up Mila's new swing (that I'm already in love with) and put the car seat adapter on the double stroller (yes, in love with that too). Janet and I went out this morning and she got both of them for Stephen and I. I'm in heaven now! I've been wanting both of these things for so long! The swing already worked some magic today. :) Yes, I'll take some pictures and post them later.

Anyways, for the past few days Mila has been really fussy and we couldn't figure it out. It didn't make any sense because it was our first time mixing her medicine. When we went to make the second batch, low and behold, we realized that the first batch wasn't mixed right. We put in double the water so she was only getting half of the dose! Poor thing. We immediately started giving her the correct dose and she's been sleeping like an angel in her new swing. Hallelujah! I put her in it awake, and she fell asleep in it. I'm thinking that for now, we may let her sleep in it at night since it's inclined and the doctor told us to have her sleep at a 45 degree angle because of her reflux.

Janet and I took the kiddos on a short walk and both of the kiddos enjoyed it! Mila slept the whole time and Ian enjoyed his new snack trey. Now, Amy and I will be able to run errands together without having to take Mila out of her car seat and there are two of us, so one can push the basket and the other can push the bambinos! I'm very excited, can you tell?

And, I'm 99.9% sure that Stephen's birthday gift will be in full effect tonight, once it is... I'll update everyone on it, but it's the most amazing gift alive!!

Well, got to help Janet with the bambinos and get ready for the bbq tonight on another b-e-a-u-tiful day!

  1. Glad to hear you seem to have gotten the reflux under control. It makes all the difference in the world, doesn't it????

  2. Oh my goodness yes! But, it's a struggle because every time she gains, you can tell it's less effective. Hopefully she only has it for 6 months!
